He focuses on high-stakes business litigation nationwide, emphasizing aggressive plaintiff-side representation.

Travis honed his skills as a hired-gun, litigating high-stakes matters for a diverse range of clients. He now focuses on representing corporate clients and individuals who need zealous prosecution or defense, and whom he believes have been wronged. He's been described as “smart, strategic, and to the point,” a “genius,” and “one of the hardest workers and most versatile people I know.”

Before leading the Litigation Department at Albrecht Law, Travis served as a federal appellate and trial-court law clerk where he worked on a wide range of criminal and civil matters, including death-penalty cases. He also practiced at venerable litigation firms, including Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, where he defended and prosecuted a broad spectrum of disputes, including high-stakes legal-malpractice matters.

We are currently pursuing over a half billion in damages in plaintiff-side litigation across the US and Delaware. On Long-Term Games

Influenced by Naval Ravikant (and others), I believe in "playing long-term games with long-term minded people." Watch here.

On Infinite vs. Finite Games

Infinite games are positive-sum, where the goal is to "bring as many people in to play... invent new games," and enlarge the pie rather than just taking a slice. This framework helps in deciding what to pursue.

"Is this a finite game? I don’t want to play. Is this an infinite game? Sign me up."

On System Mindset

"Analyzing why a move is bad...is an example of what we might call outcome mindset... A higher level of strategy...is to analyze the decision process behind a move: why you decided on that move, in that moment, in that context, and what that means for how you should change your decision-making in the future. That’s system mindset."

On Trust

"If you ever considered the possibility... that not everybody is one or the other, but because you trust them at that outset, they are more likely to become trustworthy because you trust them.”

On Formalism & Individuality

"In severing the indexical link between the bodily gesture and the pictorial mark and in letting such nonsubjective forces as gravity and fluidity be the main agents in his pictorial process... Pollock, consciously or not, assaulted the very individualism that his peers were celebrating..."
